Persistent Athlete's foot

My 23-year-old son has had athlete’s foot for a number of years and has tried everything to get rid of it. His feet seem to sweat a lot which is obviously making the problem worse. He has been told now to try tea tree oil. Do you think this would help?

Athlete's foot is caused by one of two fungi, Trichophyton or Epidermophyton, both of which like to grow in the warm, moist areas between the toes and a persistent infection is always a sign of
(a) an imbalance in the body’s microflora, and
(b) a weakened immune system.

To treat the existing infection, use Colloidal Silver which disables the enzymes which many forms of bacteria, fungi and viruses need for their own metabolism and survival. A good quality probiotic supplement will then replace the so-called “friendly” bacteria in the gut which will then help keep the immune system strong enough to fight off reinfection.

Your son needs to use silica to help prevent the dampness caused by sweaty feet and so change those conditions these fungi thrive on. It is best taken internally the form of tissue salts which by-pass the digestive system and so are more easily absorbed by the body.

*Silica No. 12 is a biochemic tissue salt made by New Era costing £3.69. You can mail order this and Colloidal Silver supplements from Revital (0800-252875).
