Mixing supplements
I have tried asking my GP about mixing supplements but she admits she is not very knowledgeable about natural health. I am sure lots of people share my concern that we might be doing more harm than good by taking so many different things.
It can be tempting to mix remedies ad hoc every time you read another article about another super-supplement, but the key to using natural remedies safely and effectively to maintain good health is to use a good quality range that has done the mixing for you.
You should check out the Sage Organic range, which cleverly combines herbs and nutrients in dual-packs that provide the therapeutic dosages of the remedies you need. The herbs are formulated in one pack, the nutrients in another and they are safe to take together.
The range includes Healthy Man and Healthy Woman; a general multi-supplement for both sexes plus a more specific menopause, pregnancy and 50 plus formulation for vitality in later life. Where possible, ingredients are organic but, of course, there is no such thing as an organic vitamin. The dual packs not only take the confusion out of supplementation but are good value too. They cost £8.99 and are available, by mail order, on 01672-811 777.
