Irritable Bowel Syndrome
I’m in my early 40s and have felt my health deteriorating for a few years now. It all started with irritable bowel syndrome which I first developed in my mid-20s. I have stiff joints, especially my shoulders and neck. I’ve tried various complementary practitioners but I am on a limited income and so cannot afford for long drawn-out treatments. What can you suggest?
Don’t spend another penny on treatments until you have read a copy of Stop Belly-aching - Banish Indigestion & Irritable Bowel Syndrome by Dr Peter Mansfield which will also explain how your digestive problems and stiff joints are, as you suspect, directly linked. It is newly published in paperback by Souvenir Press and costs £9.99.
Dr Mansfield is the pioneering GP and founder of what he sees as his vision of a complementary medicine alternative to the NHS; an organisation called Good Health Keeping, which you can join as an individual or as a family and then call for health advice. You will also benefit from discounts on good quality supplements. For more details call 0845 644 3485.
