Recurrent headaches
Since February this year, I have suffered recurrent headaches, which have been diagnosed as tension headaches. This all started after a viral type illness and while every test I have had has come back clear, I know I am not right and have had to postpone my wedding. Can you help?
I would not try to self-diagnose or self-treat this legacy of your recent illness but instead, would find a qualified naturopath who will use homeopathy, herbalism and nutrition to help accelerate your recovery. The British Naturopathic Association (01485 840072) can refer you, at no charge, to a specialist in your area.
You would also benefit from a visit to an osteopath who specialises in cranial-sacral osteopathy which I have found immensely useful in not only recovering from a serious back injury, but alleviating headaches and other niggling aches and pains caused by muscular tension.
Again, to find a practitioner in your area call The General Osteopathic Council (0207 357 6655; www.osteopathy.org.uk).
