Are too many carrots poisonous?I was very concerned to read recently in your column that too many organic carrots would be poisonous. Glucosamine Sulphate and shellfish allergyI know lots of people take Glucosamine Sulphate to help their osteoarthritis and with other joint problems but I am not sure if this supplement can be taken by anyone with an allergy to shellfish. Polycystic ovaries and the contraceptive pillMy 24-year-old daughter has been diagnosed with polycystic ovaries. Her symptoms included prolonged PMT, erratic periods and patches of acne high on each cheek.
